CAIRO – Egpytian Ministry of Health issued a statement regarding the injuries and deaths left by the last police attacks on the protests in Cairo. According to the statement, 18 people were killed and 80 were wounded in the clashes.
Yesterday thousands of people took the streets to commemorate the anniversary of the people’s revolution against the former president Hosni Mubarak. There were various activities and protests in Cairo, Iskandariyah, Cize, Kafar Sheşkh, Meena and Minofiya that turned into clashes between the police and protestors. The ministry reported that 18 were killed and 80 were wounded by the police.
In the statement it was also noted that 15 polices were wounded in the clashes.
