Another earthquake hits Iran

NEWS DESK – An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale hit Juriah area of Shoshter city in Khuzestan province south Iran.

The seismological center of the Geophysical Institution of Tehran University said the quake occurred on Saturday morning.

He said the quake occurred at a depth of 9 km below the earth surface, and there were no reports of possible damage caused by the earthquake.

The earthquake, measuring 7.3 on Richter scale has hit last month “November” Kermanshah region in Rojhilat (East Kurdistan) on the Iraqi border, causing the loss of hundreds of civilians for their lives and wounding thousands. On the Iraqi side, the Health Ministry announced that the earthquake resulted of losing lives of 8 persons and injuring about 500.
