NEWS DESK – A member of the Presidential Body of the Democratic Conservatives Party Basman al-Assaf said that they joined the Democratic Nation’s list because the objectives of their party is shared with all the participating parties’ objectives in the list.
As the elections for the second phase of North Syrian’ Federation are nearing completion, and after the first phase of the election of co-chairs of the communes, the joint lists in the elections of the local administrations in North Syria are preparing for the second phase of the local, district, in December and start their electoral campaign.
The Democratic National’s list revealed the participating parties in the list and their electoral manifesto during a press conference. The Hawar news agency’s correspondents met member of the Presidential Body of the Democratic Conservative Party and one of the participating parties in the list, Basman al-Assaf.
Al-Assaf pointed out that their participation in the Democratic Nation’s list and their support for the democratic process in North Syria is due to their belief the election itself is a positive situation and reflects true democracy.
“The elections are a moral and humanitarian duty because citizens need services, so there can be no vacuum in this area.” To achieve this, we participated in these elections because we believe that the service is a duty for every good citizen” said al-Assaf.
Al-Assaf, member of the Presidential Body of the Conservative Democratic Party, said that they joined the Democratic Nation’s list because the objectives of their party are shared with all parties’ objectives involved in the list.
The aim of the Democratic Nation’s list is to provide services to all regions in North Syria and to rehabilitate the old markets. The main objectives of the list are youth development and activating their role to achieve equality between men and women,” said Basman al-Assaf.
“We hope that those who chose in the elections to represent the local administration councils will be able to take responsibility, so we appeal to the people of North Syria to vote for those who see it as representing their aspirations,” said Basman al-Assaf.
