Fawza Youssef: delegations from several countries signifies federalism’s importance

NEWS DESK-The Co-chair of the Executive Body of the North Syria Federalism Fawza Youssef, said that everyone is approaching the local administration elections in North Syria with the spirit of responsibility, and that the arrival of delegations to observe the elections means that these parties give importance to the federal project.

Hawar news agency ANHA held an interview with the Co-chair of the Executive Body of the North Syria Federalism which confirmed that the people of North Syria have shown the world that it is ready to self-ruling.

“Everyone is approaching the elections with the spirit of responsibility, starting with the agents of lists, parties, supervisors of the electoral process and observers,” Fawza Youssef said at the beginning of her speech.

“The elections went without any problems,” Fawza Youssef said. “The people of North Syria have proved themselves ready to self-rule themselves and are able to make North Syria project a success.”

“Delegates from Başûr, Bakur, Russia and America watched the elections” Fawza Youssef said, “observers from several countries had come to observe the elections.”

“We have invited delegations from Kurdistan Region of Başûr and Bakur, in addition to Russian observers and observers from the US-led coalition, to observe the elections, to prove to the world that our democracy is not a formality.

“The arrival of delegations to the North Syria indicates that those who had sent them give importance to the elections and to the project of North Syria, especially that all members of the delegations expressed positive views about the conduct of the electoral process and said it is democratic.”

The Co–chair of the Executive Body of the North Syria Federal Fawza Youssef, said they see the arrival of foreign delegations as a positive step.
