Fawza Youssef: “Federalism’s success is great present to martyrs”

DÊRIK- The co-chair of the Executive Body of the Constituent Council of Democratic North-Syria Federation Fawza Youssef motivated the martyrs’ families to work for reinforcing and succeeding the Democratic Federation. Under the motto “Following the Martyrs’ Footsteps and the Leader Apo’s Instructions Is a Guarantee to the Certain Victory”, the works of the annual meeting started on Sunday morning.

On Sunday morning, the annual meeting of Martyrs’ Families Council which took place in Paradise Resort in Derik city in Qamişlo canton started to discuss the activities and workers of Martyrs’ Families Council that was done during a year, and 90 delegates of the DAA members of the Martyrs’ Families Council in north of Syria participated in the meeting.

The co-chair of the Executive Body of the Constituent Council of Democratic North-Syria Federation Fawza Youssef, the co-chair of Power Body Abdel Kareem Melek, the co-chair of Interior Body Kanan Barakat, the co-chair of Municipalities Body Joseph Lahdo and Justice Body’s deputy Rasha abbas also participated in the meeting.

After holding a minute of silence, the co-chair of the Executive Body of Democratic North-Syria Federation Fawza Youssef delivered a speech saying “the martyrs are those who progress life towards freedom, and they are the values that live within people’s conscience”.

Fawza Youssef added “the martyrs played the role of command and they provided us with new life”.

The co-chair of Interior Body Kanan Barakat delivered a speech saying “Martyrdom is the most important footstep for us to follow, and it would lead us to freedom and victory in addition to achieving security and safety for all peoples”.

After speeches were delivered, the annual report of Martyrs’ Families Council was read, and it included the total works that the councils achieved in addition to the weaknesses and deficiencies that appeared during the last year.

The meeting is continuing by reading the organizational report of Martyrs’ Families Councils.

According to the meeting divan’s members, the meeting would last for 3 days, and it would be ended by taking decisions and putting a plan for an annual work.
