AMUDA- The co-chair of the High Electoral Commission in al-Jazeera region Ruken Mullah Ibrahim said that the High Commission will announce the final outcome of the elections tomorrow, on Tuesday at a press conference in Amoda district.
The High Electoral Commission met in al-Jazeera region in its office in Amoda district with its members in Qamişlo and al-Hasakah to conduct the latest statistics of the Local Administration elections.
“The High Electoral Commission meets its members to conduct the latest statistics for the Local Administration elections in al-Jazeera region after the statistics of the areas and cities of al-Jazeera region ended on Sunday.” Ruken Mullah Ibrahim said during an interview with Hawar news agency about the meeting’s goal.
Ruken Mullah Ibrahim noted that according to the High Electoral Commission’ s laws, the votes’ statistics held in 2 centers, one of them was held in al-Hasakah, and the other in Qamişlo. On Monday, in the meeting will gather all the votes in al-Jazeera region to show the final number which will be announced on Tuesday at a press conference by the High Electoral Commission in Amoda district.
The co-chair of the High Electoral Commission assured that the High Electoral Commission has conducted several tours in the areas where elections held in. “There was a heavy turnout on the Local Administration elections, some women joined the elections with their Kurdish dress as their joining was positive.”
The co-chair of the High Commission for Elections Ruken Mullah Ibrahim concluded “as for the situation ongoing in North Syria, holding democratic elections is a revolution by itself.”
