“Hope” Festival for disable people continues

Afrin – The first “Hope” Festival will continue for people with special needs in Afrin canton, with speeches, Dabkas and folkloric dances.EFRIN-BERDEWAMIA-FEZTEVALE ( (4)

The first festival for disabled people started in Afrin canton in Afrin region under the slogan “I Can” organized by the Social Affairs and Labor Body and the cooperation of the Culture, Youth and Sports Bodies. At the Jîn Hall in Afrin area

Hundreds of people with special needs are participating in the festival, as well as representatives of Democratic Autonomous Administration – bodies and institutions, civil institutions, humanitarian associations and organizations within the canton.

After a minute of silence, the Brass Band of the Defense and Self-Protection Body in Afrin canton presented musical pieces, following this, a word was delivered by the head of the Social Affairs and Labor Body, Arifah Bakr, in which she encouraged all people with disabilities to do their favorite activities and hobbies and challenge their disability with determination, stand in the face of obstacles and achieve their hope of effort.EFRIN-BERDEWAMIA-FEZTEVALE ( (1)

Arifah also denounced the continuation of the bombing of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on the canton of Afrin. “The canton of Afrin is under attack by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on a daily basis, and certainly the bombing aims to destabilize the canton, and we emphasize that the bombing will not stand in front of the victories we achieve on the ground and in all aspects.

Arifah said that they will continue to reach out to all those with disability in the canton and provide them with moral and material support.EFRIN-BERDEWAMIA-FEZTEVALE ( (7)

After that, Culture and Art Center’s artistic teams presented a song entitled “I Can”, which they wrote. In turn, the band “Perwîn” presented a folkloric dance, and the members of the Youth and Sports Association presented games, in an atmosphere of joy and pleasure on the faces of the participants.

A member of Culture and Art Center, Mahmoud Bakr, gave a poem to people, which in turn raised the spirits of the participants.

Events of the festival continue as songs are performed by hte participants.
