AIN ISSA – Since this morning, hundreds of displaced residents of the city of Deir ez-Zor have headed towards Ain Issa camp in canton Tel Abyad (Girê Sipî) in order to obtain the necessary support for them and aid from tents and food and drink, and camp appeals to all organizations to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of the city of Deir ez-Zor.
With the start of al-Jazeera Tempest campaign on September 9 led by Syrian Democratic Forces aimed at the liberation of Deir ez-Zor area and its countryside, saving their people from the injustice of ISIS mercenaries.
Waves of the displaced began flowing towards the liberated areas, particularly towards the Ain Issa camp, while the camp management seeks to secure the tents to accommodate the displaced arrivals.
Jalal Ayaf an administrative Ain Issa camp appealed to all international organizations to expedite the provision of assistance and the establishment of tents to shelter the displaced.
Jalal stressed that the aid provided was insufficient to meet the needs of displaced people fleeing conflict zones, and said that children in particular were in desperate need of food and clothing.
Hawar news agency met with a number displaced people, who, in turn, appealed to all organizations and the competent authorities to secure private tents, they are sitting under the scorching sun, and women in particular, demanded to secure milk and food for their children.
