NEWSDESK- The Israeli authorities have decided to close Karam Abo Salem and Erez crossings on the border between Israel and the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian arena is witnessing a public alarm after the United States declared Jerusalem the capital of Israel, which led to the start of confrontations between the Israeli forces and the young Palestinians, in addition to launching Israeli air strikes on Gaza Strip areas.
Gaza is surrounded by 7 border crossings, including 6 crossings with Israel, and the last 4 were closed (commercial), following the Hamas takeover of Gaza in the summer of 2007.
According to media reports, the Israeli authorities have decided to close the Karam Abu Salem and Erez crossings on the border between Israel and the Gaza Strip on Thursday.
In a related context, the Israeli army has launched Wednesday night launching raids and arrests against Palestinian civilians, which she said were suspected of involvement in terrorist activities and riots.
