NEWS DESK – The Kurdistan Patriotic Congress of (KNK) denounced the practices of the Iranian regime against the Kurdish people in Rojhilat Kurdistan (East Kurdistan), and appealed to all the Kurds to support the demonstrations of the people of the cities of Banê, Merîwan, Serdeşt and all the cities of Rojhilat.
The Presidential Council of the Kurdistan Patriotic Congress issued a statement denouncing the Iranian army’s murder of several Kurdish people working in the border trade.
The statement said that the Iranian regime has been practicing for 38 years various kinds of injustice, murder, imprisonment and intimidation against the people of Iran, especially the Kurdish people.
The Kurdistan Patriotic Congress said in its statement that the Iranian regime has turned Rojhilat Kurdistan into military barracks and intelligence “destroying the economic structure in Kurdistan. Neglecting the economy of Kurdistan, which led to the spread of unemployment in the Kurdistan society. Our people suffered greatly in the management of their livelihood, but the state is blocking all ways and means of livelihood, and the daily assault on our people under the pretext of flimsy.
The Kurdistan Patriotic Congress condemned in the context of the statement “the brutality of the Islamic Republic of Iran” against the people of Rojhilat Kurdistan and called on the Iranian regime to respect the will, freedom and dignity of the people of Kurdistan and stop its occupation and control of Kurdistan. The statement also stressed that the Iranian regime will not succeed in silencing the voice of the people demanding freedom through increasing the number of their soldiers in Kurdistan.
At the end of the statement, the Presidential Council of the Kurdistan Patriotic Congress appealed to all the people of Kurdistan in the four parts of Kurdistan and abroad to support the demonstrations that took place in the cities of Banê, Merîwan, Serdeşt and all the cities of Rojhilat Kurdistan. He also called for the strengthening of national unity in parts of Kurdistan and appealed to the people of Rojhilat Kurdistan to support the efforts of the consultative meeting scheduled to be held on September 16 and 17 in the Swedish capital Stockholm.
