KOBANÎ- The Martyrs’ Families Council in Kobanî canton in the Euphrates region held a meeting for the martyrs’ wives in preparation for holding a special conference for them in North Syria that is supposed to be held in the coming period.
The Co-chair of the Executive Council in Kobanî canton Berivan Hassen, the co-chair of the Legislative Council Fayza Abdi, the head of Women Body Amina Bakir, the Co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement Council in Kobanî Aysha Afandi, the member of Kongra Star coordination Midya Majid, representatives of the Democratic Union Party, and hundreds of the martyrs’ wives attended the meeting held in the center of Martyrs’ Families Council.
After holding a minute of silence, the member of the coordination of Kongra Star in Kobanî canton Midya Mohammed said, “the martyrs’ existence is embodied into their children and families’ existence who have become as a citadel revenging the enemy who looted a member of their family. This is what represents the saying, martyrs do not die.”
Midya Mohammed pledged all the martyrs’ families and wives to follow the martyrs’ footsteps and revenge for them.
Then, the attendees gave their suggestions to be held and presented in the conference as the suggestions included opening a special school for the martyrs’ children, providing the continuous support to the martyrs’ families, opening factories and workshops for the martyrs’ wives, opening special courses for the martyrs’ wives and children, developing economic projects for the martyrs’ wives, preventing the martyrs’ wives to marry again; otherwise, they would not be members in the Martyrs’ Families Council.
