DEIR EZ-ZOR– A new batch of displaced people of Deir ez-Zor city and the northern villages of the city arrived today in the areas liberated by the Syrian Democratic Forces. Both of Rojava Organization for Relief and Development and Kurdish Red Crescent have mobilized to provide them with the necessary assistance.
Today, hundreds of displaced people have walked tens of kilometers on foot within the desert to escape the constant oppression of IS and continuous bombardment of Russian and Syrian aircrafts on the city of Deir ez–Zor and have reached areas liberated by Syrian Democratic Forces.
In addition, the Rojava Organization has provided food provision and water as well as the Kurdish Red Crescent, which was quick to provide emergency services to the displaced, medicines for patients while cases requiring care were transferred to hospitals of al-Hasakah city.
In this regard member of the Rojava Organization Ali Muhammed said that they go wherever a refugee existed in the Syrian north, adding that they are ready to bring in the supplies from their home and provide them to the displaced if necessary.”
The medical staff of the Kurdish Red Crescent also confirmed that, in addition to providing them with the necessary medicines and first aid, the patients were transferred to hospitals in al -Hasakah city for treatment.
