AFRIN – The National Democratic Alliance of Syria condemned the Russian bombing of the Syrian Democratic Forces points in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor and appealed to the international community to carry out its duties and put pressure on Russia as it does not contribute to efforts to eliminate terrorism.
The Russian bombardment on the points of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the Conico gas company, northeast of Deir ez-Zor, yesterday was met with a bitter denunciation of Syrian and regional circles. The Syrian National Democratic Alliance released a written statement, Hawar news agency got a copy of it.
The statement is:
“In the midst of the fierce battles that shook the everywhere IS existed by the Syrian Democratic Forces to combat terrorism, and in the context of the campaign al-Jazeera Tempest in coordination with the global coalition forces to fight terrorism to liberate Deir ez-Zor city and its people from injustice and terrorism represented by IS.
As the Democratic Syrian Forces liberated many villages, cities, towns and areas, Russian forces and the regime forces outrageously shelled the Syrian Democratic Forces’ outposts, the military headquarters of Deir ez-Zor, Conico gas company and other liberated sites.
We in the Democratic Syrian National alliance condemn these hostile attacks, this is the second time this month that the regime’s forces, backed by Russian warplanes have attacked Syrian Democratic Forces in order to limit its progress which has broken IS morale after defeating it and causing heavy losses in Kobani, Manbij and al- Raqqa. And Deir ez-Zor .
We appeal to the public, the global coalition forces to fight terrorism and the international community to carry out their duties to prevent repetition and put pressure on Russia as it does not contribute in the efforts to eliminate terrorism and targets the sites and areas liberated from the organization IS by the people of the homeland; the Syrian Democratic Forces, because silence about the fight against terrorism threatens our people and the world as a whole”.
