NEWS DESK- Yemeni sources reported that Houthi “Ansar Allah” group buried the body of former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
A source for the site, “The scene of Yemen,” the burial was conducted in a very discreet and prevent the attendees from carrying their mobile phones and a limited number of people from the area of Saleh and his distant relatives.
The website quoted an activist from the General People’s Congress Party, led by Saleh, that the process of burying the body took place at night in the light of a lamp, in the presence of only five people from his family, and indicated that it was not valid information from other sources.
Saudi news portal reported yesterday that Huthis refused to hand over the body of Saleh until his family agreed to conditions set by the group, including the absence of any ceremony for the funeral of his body or any public solace in return for handing over the body.
The group “Ansar Allah” Houthi, killed former President Ali Abdullah Saleh on December 4, after Saleh announced the dissolution of the partnership with Houthis and his call to open a new page in Yemen and stand by Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia.
