These organizations, in cooperation with the Office of Organization Affairs, are working on the preparation of the camp for the winter through the distribution of “shelter improvement” assistance which includes several household items and winter blankets.

In the case that the camp is effectively expanded and a number of displaced people are transferred from the town of al-Tabqa to al-Tuwaheina camp, the Education Committee of al-Tabqa Civil Council will be able to open more schools to accommodate larger numbers. The number of ready-made schools in the city is only 5 other schools. Only the presence of displaced persons impedes the opening of other schools.

There is no timetable for these organizations to end al –Tuwaheina camp preparations, and the coming period will be a real test for these organizations to fulfill their promises.
