AFRIN– The Social Affairs and Labor Body in Afrin canton of Afrin province opened a school for the children in Robar camp.
Following the coordination of the Social Affairs and Labor Body and the Democratic Community Training Committee in Sherawa district, a school for displaced children was opened today at Robar camp in Sherawa district of Afrin canton.
The opening of the school was attended by dozens of teachers of the Democratic Community Training Committee, members of the Social Affairs and Labor Authority, the management of Robar camp and the displaced persons of the camp.
Shiyar Muhammad a member of the displaced and relief office said in this context “the delaying of opening the school was because of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries many times to the displaced of the camp, and said “We do not know when the bombing is going on, but to ensure the future of the children of the camp, the school was reopened and we hope that it will be completed the process teaching in peace, and we call on the Turkish occupation to stop bombing the displaced people. “
At the end of his speech, he called on international and human rights organizations to help the children of the camp with school supplies such as bags, notebooks, pens and other items needed by the displaced in Robar camp.
The camp school consists of two tents with about 20 seats. The number of children registered is 50 students from the primary level. The teaching process will be supervised by 5 teachers of the training committee. The working hours will be from 9:00 to 13:00.
