Washington renews Iran’s exemption from nuclear file’s sanctions

NEWS DESK- USA president Donald Trump signed a decree of renewing Iran’s exemption from sanctions linked to its nuclear file.

USA president signed on Friday the decree after receiving an official recommendation in this regard from Foreign Secretary Rex Tillerson, Defense General James Matisse, and National Security Advisor Herbert McMaster in the white House.

Trump said that he would extend the suspension of nuclear sanctions against Iran, but only as a “last chance” that would not be repeated. The deadline will put pressure on the Europeans, the main supporters and the parties of the international agreement signed in 2015, to satisfy Trump who described the deal as “the worst of all.”

According to Reuters, Trump wants to tighten the nuclear deal by concluding an extension agreement within 120 days or the United States will withdraw individually from the international agreement, and warned saying, “No one must doubt in my decision.”

A US official confirmed that Trump would work with the Europeans by an agreement that would strengthen the inspections of the Iranian establishments, and deal with the threat of ballistic missiles saying that he hoped to reach an agreement within a year.
